DJ: Marco Moretti “El Tano”
Marco came to know the Argentine tango in 1985 in the famous Cabaret “Les Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“ in Paris. He came in touch with many legendary milongueros of the time, who shaped his tango feeling and introduced him to the music and the dance. Accordingly, Marco, became one of the first Europeans to discover tango and to become passionate about it. A Milonguero at heart, Marco favors the Milonguero dance style and is a frequent participant in encuentros and marathons across France, Germany, Portugal and Italy.
He considers himself privileged to hold the ladies, as queens of the milonga, in his arms.
He musicalize in France, Italy and Germany. He prefers the music from the 40s (Epoca de Oro), but he also like to play with the new nuevos styles.
His favorite orchestras : J. D’arienzo, F. Canaro, C. Di Sarli, A. Troilo, E. Donato, R. Biagi, M. Calo, Tipica Victor…
His musical choices are centered on the emotion and musicality during the event from the first tangos of the 30s to Pugliese and beyond.
He always listen to the energy of the chosen themes to make a pleasant offer to the dancers.
