TDJ: Silvia Fracchia (Cagliari, IT)
Silvia Fracchia has been dancing Argentine tango since the late 90s, when she started to engage in the study and dissemination of this fascinating dance. In 1998 she was one of the founders of the first tango society in Cagliari (Sardinia, IT). Since 2010 she coorganises with her partner Bernard Gagné milongas and international tango events in Tango Loft, the first milonga in Cagliari www.Tangoloft.it. Silvia’s experience in djing is inspired by her frequent trips to Buenos Aires. She has been resident DJ in Tango Loft for many years and is invited to DJ in several milongas and events in Italy and in Germany. Her music selections are undoubtably inspired by traditional milongas in Buenos Aires, featuring all the fundamental orchestras and alternating very dynamic tandas with emotional and romantic ones.

Silvia Fracchia and Bernard Gagné have been dancing Argentine tango for many years. Through extensive training in Italy, Europe and Argentina, they have developed a distinctive tango style. Among their many influential teachers is the late, great Carlos Gavito, whose iconic sequence they will teach in the Tardecita drop-in class.
