TDJ: Dora D’Istria (Karlsruhe / DE)
Dora has been playing music weekly for over 10 years in her own milonga in Karlsruhe, Germany and several marathons in Europe.
During this time she has managed to build up a large collection of tango music, always looking for the best sound quality. A few hundred tango LPs complete her tango music collection – the number is constantly growing.
Dora wants to get the dancers on the dance floor with the first song. She likes to tell a story within the tango and the whole milonga. In dialogue with the dance floor, the energy and the dancers, she tries to find the right tandas and cortinas to create the right emotions.
Her style is traditional and she concentrates on the Golden Age, but no rule without exception!

About Myriam & Antonio: Myriam and Antonio are originally from southern Italy and have been dancing Tango Argentino together for over 10 years. Their Tango is inspired by the communication in the embrace.
Myriam has been dancing different dances since she was 5 years old: ballet, modern jazz, tap dance, as well as standard and latin american dances. Antonio started with tango in 2005. In 2009 Myriam and Antonio met each other and continued their artistic and cultural journey: they have learned together with some of the most famous dancers and teachers in the world. They teach regularly and perform at various events in Italy.
