TDJ: Juliana Thutlwa (Mannheim)
Juliana Thutlwa is an internationally travelling Tango-DJ residing in the Rhine-Neckar region in Germany. She started to DJ in 2014 in local Milongas and has made appearances in tango marathons as well as Encuentros milongueros, so far from Portugal to Poland and Sweden to Italy.
She describes her tdj’ing style as a well-seasoned dish: romantic and subtle to powerful and energetic. One of her trademarks and main focus is to carefully select tandas in order to create connection and waves that take away dancers on a trip to tango bliss. To do so her sets incorporate center around music of the epoca de oro with a little sugar and spice.
Apart from being a TDJ Juliana has been an organizer in the south-west of Germany of the zeitlose (timeless) milongas (2011-2013), the G.(erman) Pampa Tango Marathons series (2013-2015) and the ♏tangoparty (2014-2018) which will be back this year in November.

About Leonie & Jan:Leonie and Jan have been dancing and teaching tango in Frankfurt for several years. You can find them for example in the Tangolabor or in the Unisport of the Goetheuni as co-trainers. From 2017 to 2020 Leonie & Jan also organized the Milonga Libre and other smaller festivals with guest teachers in the former afip! in Offenbach.
In the meantime, they have found a new tango home for themselves with the Frankfurt Tango Society and also organize together with other friends and the support of the FTS and Fabiana Jarma the Milonga Delirio in the Academia in Frankfurt’s Ostend.
